I don't know what bugs are going to be fixed for SP1, however if you have a bug that's annoyng you, post on these forums and we'll do our best for you - we can't fix it if we don't know about it.

Hmmm. Two weeks is exactly our "launch date" for my site.
That will put will put me in a Dilemma. To upgrade and fix the bugs (and risk the wrath of the regression gods) or to live with the bugs for a while?

CS 2008.5 SP1
Yes - I'm also waiting for CS2005.8 SP1 before setting up a new site.

As others have mentioned, it is very: frustrating, time consuming, expensive and annoying to be trying to work with an "unstable" code base.

I'm just testing my 2007.1 > 2008.5 upgrade (Thanks Alex).
Wow! It is certainly a cool new application but it seems to me that my users will be just totally confused by the new features & layout.
In addition, I'm going to have to write a completely new "Help" file similar to the one on my 2007.1 site (click on help at www.ormfoundation.org)

It's also "interesting" to hear about the "issues" related to Visual Studio 2005 vs Visual Studio 2008.
Looks as though I'm going to have to ditch my expensive copy of Visual Studio 2005!

I wonder what other "expensive surprises" are in store in CS 2008.5 SP1?

I just "test upgraded" my 2007.1 site to 2008.5.
Test environment: XP Pro, Visual Studio 2005 Pro.

I set up a group and then clicked on the "Media" menu option in the top right hand window. The result is below:

Its it me or is it a CS 2008.5 bug?

Ken
