Hi,

Is there anyway to change the name of the MEDIA application, say to DOCUMENTS? I have managed to name in the top menum but would also like to change any of the other location where "MEDIA" is mentioned.

One more thing, is there a way to change the layout in the media application to more of a list view?

Lastly, could someone possibly point out a overview of how to customise the default CS2008 pages, add pages, add applications etc for a non-dev?!

Thanks
Matthew

change any of the other location where "MEDIA" is mentioned.

You have to edit Resource.xml you'll find it in your language directory

There is no well documented overview. I suppose you could get the Wrox Book 'Professional CS Themes'...it's not great but it'll help.

Ben's blog www.getben.com might help...atleast with the cs Controls

Most of the names in the site are in \Languages\en-US\Resources.xml and MediaGallery.xml.  You could search for "Media" in there and replace with "Documents".

You will need to edit Themes\hawaii\Media\aggregatepostlist.ascx to change the default layout.  You will need to be a little familiar with ASP.NET development to make these changes.
