Hi ;

i have a web site ; http://www.cozumpark.com

i use following address

http://cozumpark.com

if i write "cozumpark.com"  in address bar site url appeared : http://cozumpark.com  and page rank is  3

but i use "www.cozumpark.com" url , url is change to "http://cozumpark.com/default.aspx" and page rank ise 0

also i want use one url address ( www.cozumpark.com)  but my cs link always use cozumpark.com  ( home page button link in web site )

i found site url in cs database and changed it   cozumpark.com=> www.cozumpark.com

but didn't any change.

help me .

Open up communityserver.config, find the wwwstatus line, and change it from Remove to Require.

As for the pagerank, google calculates page rank per page and cozumpark.com and cozumpark.com/default.aspx are two different URLs so have different page ranks.

hi

i tried but didn't make any change on url ...

and i have a another problem ,

i wrote any address ( www.cozumpark.com or http://cozumpark.com)  but url change to http://cozumpark.com/default.aspx and page rank is 0 ( zero)

why add default.aspx to url ?

Did you touch the web.config file after making that change.

Let's get the www. problem sorted out before we go onto your pagerank problem as if we sort the pagerank problem out, we mak break the fix by getting www. working

(n.b. once you get www. working, all your pages will have 0 pagerank until the next page rank update.  All the non www. urls will be redirected to the www. versions so your search engine position shouldn't be affected.

www is ok ... thank you so much . [ I chanced only communityserver.config  ( i did your advices) but i forget save to file :)]

but already i have a same url problem   ( change url   - default.aspx ) before any change in communityserver.config

for example

www.cozumpark.com => www.cozumpark.com  and pr is 3  it's ok

but

cozumpark.com => www.cozumpark.com/default.aspx    ps is 0  why change url ?

I don't know why the default.aspx is added.

The only suggestion I have is that you goto http://get.communityserver.com/download/moredownloads.aspx and download the CS2.1 SP3 and apply it to your website.

If that doesn't fix your problem, unfortunantly there's not a lot you can unless you have the SDK and fix the bug yourself.  If you decide to go this route, I suggest you'll find you need to make a change to the CSHttpModule.
