Does anyone know, factually, what the consequences would be for removing the <%@ Application.......> tag from the global.aspx file.

I noted that it has an "Inherits" parameter, but in testing, have not yet noticed that anything has "broken" after having removed it.

If anyone has tried removing it before or knows of something that will very likely break because of removing it, please share your thoughts.

Thank you,

Take a look at the code here

I'm guessing the jobs won't run if you remove it

If anyone has a thought or suggestion of a method(un-supported, of course) by which I could get around having to have this "Inherits=" parameter in place, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Gary
