Not sure what the widget used for WYSIWYG editor used, but the image insertion is not good - no ability to upload images from your hard drive on the fly - is there the ability to have a better editor installed that will have a better insert image functionality?

I have a licence for wysiwygPro3 - can I swap this out for tinymce if I buy this software?

I've just uploaded this image using the default wysiwyg, make sure you choose 'Insert Media' instead of 'Insert/edit image'

Thank you, Dave.

Does the software owner have the ability to apply a 3rd party editor, to override the default?

Yes but it requires programing knowledge, try the search for how to do it, here's an example of one.

What is it you require? You can turn on any of the TinyMCE fetures quite easily
