Do you mean upgrading to CS2008 SP1 - CS2008.1 has not been released yet.
If so, I don't believe you can use the CS upgrader application to upgrade a CS2008 install to a service pack of CS2008. You'll have to use the service pack upgrade files, which you can find at get.communityserver.com/download/moredownloads.aspx.
Make sure to both upgrade your site files, and run the upgrade scripts.

Hi,
I've got the exact same problem while upgrading!
Anyone?

You CANNOT use the upgrader application to upgrade a CS2008 install to a CS2008 service pack.
To upgrade, you need to go to get.communityserver.com/download/moredownloads.aspx and download the CS2008 SP1 Upgrade files from the Service Pack section - note, the Upgrade files, not the upgrader.
Hello guys,
Doe really nobody know why this error arises? I really need to upgrade but I am stuck on this one. Please help!THX Frank
Using hte Upgrader application to upgrade CS2008 to a Service pack is NOT supported.
You have to use the Service Pack Upgrade Files, which you can find from the more Downloads page.
Ow okay. I didn't know that. Thank you for your reply!
