Hi!

I'm working on Czech localisation for the CS 2008, and I have to say, that the system is very bad done. When I create a new language and change all of the language files, the page is still not whole Czech. Some strings are in the Themes directory, so I've changed them too. But the system sometimes gets strings from the English directory, althought the language is set to Czech (and most of the page is displayed in Czech). Some strings are also stored in the source code, so if I wanted to change them:

1) I would have to publish whole Czech version of CS, not only the language files

2) It would be very difficult to find all of the strings in all of the files

3) I would have to do this with any next version, because the old files will of course not work.

Please make something with this and repair the Community Server to be better localised.

Thank you

Lukáš Kubalík

Lukáš,

Would you mind giving some example of what cannot be localized?  We try very hard to make sure everything is localized, but understand that sometimes things are missed.  You have made a copy of the en-US language files and are changing the resource files within the new folder (I'll take it that it is named cs-CZ) so if you are missing some resources from that file, please let us know.

Thanks,
David L. Penton

Yes, I have made a copy of the en-US directory, named it to cs-CZ directory and changed all of the string to Czech equivalents. Here are some exaples:
