All media files corrupted during upgrade

Hundreds and Hundreds of pdfs and other files were moved from the  database black hole where they were stored in CS 2007 to the CS 2008 filestorage folder as 1 or 2kb files. WTF!

Anyone else?

Can you restore your database and try running the upgrader again.

It is on a hosted account which took much finessing to get the upgrade to work properly. I am afraid I will have to reupload all of the files.
