Manage Ranks in CS2008

I wanted to see if someone who has installed CS2008 could tell me whether you can set ranks to member points rather than post count. We are currently running CS 2.1 and are looking at the potential of upgrading. Right now we are trying to figure out if it is worth the time to try and fix this in the current version, or wait (if it is in the 2008 version).
