upgraded from cs21 to cs2008.

I have a blog group.

http://mysite.com/blogs/?GroupID=1

but only when I logged in as admin I will see the blogs.

I am trying to add everyone view permission to it. but seem the permission can't be added. when I navigat away and come back to see. the permission is no longer there. but I can add the permission to the media group by the same way.

Hello,

I had the same problem and fixed it by going to the following (/controlpanel/BlogAdmin/Blogs.aspx) and clicking edit on the blog i wanted to show... Half way down the Blog Administration page under "Enable Blog" there will be a little link and it will say "Make Public" or "Make Private". Click this until it says "Make Private". Your blogs will now show up!!

thanks but still not showing.

here's what I use to get the blogs:

                                   <CSBlog:WeblogPostList id="GroupBlogs" runat="Server"  ShowHeaderFooterOnNone="true">
            <QueryOverrides PagerID="GroupPager" GroupID="7" PageSize="10"        IncludeCategories="false" PageIndex="0" IsAggregate="false" IsCommunityAggregatedOnly="false" PostConfig="Empty" />
             <HeaderTemplate><ul class="CommonContentBoxList"></HeaderTemplate>
            <ItemTemplate>
                                        <CSBlog:WeblogPostData ID="WeblogPostData1" runat="server" Property="Subject" TruncateAt="50" LinkTo="Post" Tag="LI" />
                                    </ItemTemplate>

                             </CSBlog:WeblogPostList>

not yet, since I am not sure if it help. I dont want to take time to upgrade it at this point.

seems it's because of the permission or the setting. since the admin can see all the blogs.

Can I check a few details

Is this happening to all blogs on your site, all blogs in a specific group on your site, or random blogs?

Small hint.  Express edition doesnt support mirror blogs. If you have license the it will be some thing else
