Are they on vacation or something? Or do they not answer the boards anymore?

Does anyone know for sure? When they were busy preparing for the CS2008 launch, they still stayed on top of the boards. It is very strange that there are so many posts going unanswered. What is going on?

Monitoring the forums was a big part of QA; as the betas are a great source of information and feedback for us.  Most of the feature work that went into CS2008 was completed much earlier (by the end of 2007) as such; there was quite a bit of focus on the forums...  Right now the CS team is heads down, working on CS2008.1.  Its chocked full of some more awesome updates, and they are on a very aggressive schedule; I am sure neither Ben or Jose or Ken are intentionally "ignoring" the forums, and will return to their usual levels of communication as things settle down a bit.

In the mean time, let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Dan, thanks so much for the reply. Whew, I thought something bad was going on, I'm glad to hear its just hard work getting in the way Big Smile

I just want to know if the bugs that are being reported over the last few weeks have any chance of being fixed in 2008.1. My bug being the most important of course Stick out tongue (http://dev.communityserver.com/forums/t/499920.aspx)

As for me, I was on vacation for 2 weeks, came back, and then managed to get sick. :)  I'm still playing catch up with the forums.

Is there anyone working on the current problems with CS 2008? I'm all for CS 2008.1, but instead of waiting until the fall for those "awesome updates", I'd be much more thrilled to learn that the bugs with the current version of the software are being resolved and will be fixed timely. Seriously, is there a SP2 due out anytime soon? What is going on, why doesn't anyone at Telligent respond to posts about bugs anymore? In fact, it has become quite rare to find a Telligent person post on any topic as of late.

Hi bspilove,

These are community support forums, not paid Telligent support forums.  They pop into these forums as a courtesy from time to time, but you should never expect a direct reply from them.  There are a lot of bugs in the current CS version, and they are working on them.  Instead of taking time out of their schedule to answer questions, they have a liason who reports things as they become available on a monthly basis.

Take it easy,
Bill
