We are not using any approval process for joining a group, once they click the Join this Group button, they now belong to the group. But, for like 5 minutes or so after they join, they cannot upload photos/videos to the group media gallery. This is causing issues, users think they joined the group, then they go to upload and get a message that they need to join the group in order to upload media. Is there a way to turn off caching or something to allow the user to immediately upload media after joining the group?

Is there any chance this will be fixed for the 1st service pack?
