Hi, im cleaning data from DB for resizen its size and i have seen that the biggest table is cs_searchbarrell.

Id like to know if it's possible delete data from this table or if i have to see how it's growing out of control.

Thanks in advance.

Not if you want to be able to use the search functionality. It is a required table for that. Do a search in these forums for that table name to get more information as others have asked similar questions.

Enterprise Search is probably your best option. It will greatly reduce the size of your database as it will replace that table with a file-based system (if I understand it correctly). There's been numerous posts on these forums about the ridiculous size of searchbarrel in relation to the rest of the database and eliminating it is one of the benefits to the Enterprise Search.

I understand what you say but now my DB is more than 900 MB sized.

And the table cs_searchbarrel is 200 MB size and index size is 457 MB, it is more than 60% of the database size is just for this table.

Anyway for reducing it?

What about Enterprise Search?

Thanks in advance
