I'm trying, to no avail, to export my CS2007 content to BlogML. I'm using the Community Server 2007 BlogML Converter and I followed the steps in the Readme exactly. I pull up the SyndicationOptions.aspx page and click the Export button and I get the following error:
XML Parsing Error: no element foundLocation: http://dougrohm.com/cs/controlpanel/blogs/SyndicationOptions.aspxLine Number 1, Column 1:^
What am I missing here? Is there something else I need to install? Am I missing an XML file? I'm assuming the Export function creates the XML file. Can someone please help???

Anyone?
THe Community Server 2007 BlogML Converter is not written of maintained by Telligent, and so you'd be better off getting your support direct from whoever wrote the BlogML converter.

Thanks, but I already did post on the BlogML forum. The reason for me posting here is because the person who wrote the converter is Keyvan Nayyeri and he's very active on these boards. He's also a CS MVP. I have also emailed directly to Keyvan but haven't heard anything back.
What do you need the export for so we can see if there's an alternative way you can get what you need done.
I'm trying to get the data into another blogging engine.
Does anyone know of a tool that I can use to export all of my data from CS 2007.1? Anything would be helpful, thanks
Does the blog software you're moving to support importing from RSS feeds?
It supposedly is supposed to work with RSS imports, but says its invalid every time I tried to import it. I'm about to give up...tired, frustrated...confused.
You may also want to contact support for whatever product you're trying to import into. Explain what you're trying to do and perhaps send them samples of what you're trying to import. They may be able to help you narrow down whether the problem lies in the data you're importing or if it's a problem with how the program is trying to read that data.
I had the same problem that you did. If you read this post: http://www.jstawski.com/archive/2008/06/21/new-server-new-blog.aspx under the section titled "The Move" I explain why you get that error and how to fix it.
