Hi Rob,

Thanks for the info.  Nice to hear nothing is changing!  Looking forward to the Beta 2 bits!

Keep well,

I am actually looking to see if 2008 will make it easier for us to move media around.  I love CommunityServer unfortunately I got the express version of 2.1 not knowing there was a small business version or a personal version that are now discontinue.  But because the prior version did not limit the Gallery creation which I allow my users to have, now I have a hard time moving all does galleries into albums to keep with the licensing compliance (no more galleries are being created by the way).  I cannot afford to pay $5000 dollars for a professional version as I don't make any money out of my site and I do it just to keep the people in my home town in Dominican Republic informed of any news.

I currently own a license of GraffitiCms but since currently there is no media gallery, can't really migrate to it.  If any body has a suggestion I will be glad to listen.

Thanks,

Maybe we should allow the express version to purchase addon like extra gallery licenses.  Just a thought.

Did we ever get an answer to this question.....

"Community Server 2008 Professional Edition will be available for $5,000/server and is perfect for smaller, less demanding social networking communities. "

Does that mean with this Licence I can setup as many sites as I want, but each of them has a restricted set of features and capabilities?

Any news on the release date of CS 2008? Will the express editiion be released at the same time, and is it limited by the amount of user accounts you can have on it?

Ken Robertson:

It was released last night:  http://get.communityserver.com/download/

The upgrade version either goes to a broken link (if you click the text) or to the MSI (if you click the button).

Also, when will the enterprise addons, and SDK be available for us to download?

Thanks!

Sorry, the title was pointed to the right place, but the Download Now button wasn't.  It has been updated.

The SDK and add-ons will follow this afternoon.
