I really like the Recommended Reading per Profile Feature, wouldn't it be nice on a per Hub Level too?

We did add support for Widgetbox widgets, Springwidgets widgets, Google Gadgets, custom HTML, and RSS widgets -- so anywhere that widgets are supported in a theme, any of these content options can be used.
thx. so at the moment i cannot simply add some external rss feed lists without customizing the theme in the files?
Is there an interface to the blogroller application of cs, which I haven't use in the past. I like to get content from my external rss source direclty into the groups blog.

There is not an interface for mirroring blog content into a group blog.

It's always possible, but, at this time, there is no plan to implement support for this.
