Shouldn't this forum be in the main 'features and functionality' section?  If not, is this an indicator that galleries are being dropped from CS?

Yikes, that would scare me! My Galleries are the only publicly active section on my site. Smile

I don't know - has the feature-set of the next version been described in that manner?

Confused, CS2007 still has something called a gallery and I came to this forum looking for help with it.  If 2008 has a different structure/naming conventions, then shouldn't that affect the 2008 forums and not the CS 2007 ones?

They just moved this into the “archive” because they changed the way the forums are grouped together. This is because a lot of us complained that there were no groups for the various releases. The archive is simply the old forum setup. So if you wanted to talk about gallery functionality or forums or whatever you would do it in the Features and Functionality Section of the Corresponding Release. The lack of a “Gallery” Forum in the sub forums is perhaps just an oversight.  Whatever the case may be the Photo Gallery is not going away so don’t panic.

Well, oversight or not, it should be moved to the proper location if the feature-set is going to stay.  If the gallery functionality is going to be yanked, then I personally feel that it is a very, very bad decision... Galleries are my #1 favorite feature and really set the product apart.

 Thanks for the reply, though!
