Hi,

I have multiple CS Communities.  I set up a trimmed down version of CS to server as the main site (register.evanta.com) . And we will have multiple versions of CS serving as satelitte sites (cioln.com,cfoln.com,etc).  I want to set it up so if a member is logged into cioln.com and clicks on a link to register.evanta.com the user is automatically logged in.

I tried reading the Cookie Authentication Cross Domain post, but I do not think a solution was ever posted.  Is it as simple as applying the security module add on?  I also read some post on cross domain cookies but it was not very detailed.

Can anyone help?

For security reasons, browsers do not allow you to share or set cookies across top level domains.  You can only share cookies between subdomains (ie, sub1.domain.com and sub2.domain.com).  Doing this would not be possible with any of the SSO modules.  You would have to develop a custom solution and likely have to use the query string or some form elements.
