When you create a new album you can specify an existing parent album, or you can create them via the Album Manager page using the custom right click context menu, or you should be able to drag and drop them in the album manager.

This only works when you gallery is in ablum mode (not tag mode).  Tags are always flat.

Thanks so much that is exactly what I was looking for. Is there a way to have it show the albums and not all the photos when you first view a main album?

can anyone help? How to get it to show albums and not just all photos at once? I would like to go into a personal album and see sub albums then choose the one I want to view and then be given the photos to view, Not see all the photos thrown in at once when you go into an album

To switch to album view navigate to "My Photos", Settings, Post Categorization Settings.  Select Albums from the drop down list.

I understand how to configure albums on the backend, but how do you view albums on the front end of the site?  All I see is the Album List treeview control.

The control panel allows you to specify a Highlight Photo for each gallery.  Is there a way to view thumbnails of each gallery in a grid view in the front end of the site?

Thanks,

Graham
