As you can see, I have recently employed a team of monkeys to help me coding this project.

and give the monkeys better working conditions, I mean look at the monitor! you can't develop quality software on something that size....oh and Bananas they really like bananas, and its costing me an arm and a leg.  On top of all that they are only getting a shower once a week at the moment and only one coffee a day!

Seriously though I work on this project in my spare time and I am very grateful for your donations and support.

Oh and sorry, couldn't help myself with the version name Smile Moving on.......

So here is a screen shot of the new version of gallery manager that I am working on:

(click on image for larger version)

  • The layout has changed; the options pane is gone and you can now browse the images in CS with thumbnails!
  • You will be able to edit and remove individual images from CS.
  • Drag and drop images from your computer to any album(or with tags), and drag and drop images to different folders within CS.
  • There is a connection manager which allows you to manage multiple CS connection profiles.
  • The upload queue will stay and will become bidirectional.  Can be hidden though, since you can drag and drop.
  • I am also looking into implementing file gallery support. (I know you saw the tab Smile)

Your ideas, thoughts and rants welcome.

Cheers

Look pretty good from what I can see. How does it work with Tags as opposed to Albums? I am not using Albums just throw everything into a Gallery and Tag extensively...Any luck on reading tags in xmp yet?

Hey Guys.  I have seen all your messages over the last weeks, but have not really had the time to reply.  I am on holiday in NZ at the moment until mid Feb, so I wont be able to fix any of the issues you are having until then. Being an opensource project I still welcome anyone who would like to contribute to the project, fixing bugs adding features etc.  I will fix the 2007.1 issues when I get back, as to for 2008 support I cant promise anything just yet time wise.

Hope you all have a great new years.

Cheers

Chiwis,

What version of Visual Studio and the .NET framework do you have to install in order to contribute to the project?  I'd like to help (when time allows for me) to do so, but I'll need to know what tools to use.

Thanks!

 Hi!

Is there anyone still develop this tool for CS 2007.1 and CS 2008. Unfortunately, I don't have enough knowledge and ability to develop it so I hope that you don't abandon it.

Thank you,
