Hi there.

I would like know how to get the Telerik controls (calendar, grid, ajax manager) to work with community server. Everything is fine if until I try to nest the page (containing the controls) into the regular Masterpage-functionality (ending with Master.Master). It seems like I have to reference the scripts and styles differently. Has anyone already done that?

regards,

Brokit

I'm looking to implement the telerik menu into my CS project so would also appreciate any feedback on this. Would it simply be a case of adding the DLLs and referencing them in the relevant aspx file? Would this require a re-build of my CS web site?

Although this is an old post, I am looking into this issue myself. What were your results? Were you able to enable the full functionality of the RadMenu (images, tagging, etc)?

Cheers!

I am also trying to use RadMenu and other telerik controls.  Telerik support sends us here as the traditional approach doesn't work.  Possibly due to the pathing and redirection going on?

Can someone from the CS 2008 team provide an example of how to incorporate RadMenu?

This is not really the CS teams' domain as they only support CS, not the Telerik controls.

What is the traditional approach that doesn't work in CS?

We use telerik controls at work, I can't see any reason why they shouldn't work in CS like any other website. If you are using the new telerik AJAX controls you will need the asp.net ajax assembly, the correct entries in web.config and the scriptmanager added to your page (ie masterpage)
