Are also feature request/suggestion for CS2007 welcome in here?

The account activation options for new registration settings have four mutually exclusive options.

Can it be done so that it's either an "autonomous" or "invitation only" and then having "email" and "admin approval" as checkboxes?
I'd really like to have admin approval on users that have proven their email correct...

Sorry for hammering on with posts, I'm just being very impressed by this CS2007... Smile

Thank you.

Bye.

While you are welcome to discuss feature requests here, since we are now at Beta 2 and less than a month away from RTM, it is unlikely that we'll be adding any new features.

So basically you're looking for the ability to send an invitation and once accepted, it queues up for admin approval? Interesting...

Not a problem with regards to the feedback...it's what we need to make a better product.

Makes sense. Maybe you can queue it up for next SP or release.

I'm actually looking for a way to have a new user join autonomously.
Then the sites verifies that the email is correct (link back?).
Then the new request is queued for admin approval with the email address verified.

Sounds like you've got some "trust issues" Stick out tongue

Actually, we have heard this kind of workflow before, so I'll definitely add it to our Ideas bucket.

Thanks for the feedback...

It's used by some other forum systems like Snitz. First aprroving user and then sending an activation link to correct e-mail address. It's an important feature.
