No, uninstalling and upgrading to the latest version (beta3) does not fix the issue.

The only solution for now is turning the IE DevToolbar off. You might want to inform Microsoft on this issue.

That's strange.  I have the IE DevToolbar installed and cannot reproduce the issue.

My version is: 1.00.1517.0

My version 1.00.2109.0, I believe this is a release from January 2007.

Sander, I have the same version as you. I confirm that once I have disabled IE DevToolbar BHO, the problem no longer occurs.

After uninstalling IE DevToolbar and upgrading to 1.00.2109.0, I *can* reproduce the issue.  I would suggest not installing this version of the IE DevToolbar (it is still in beta).

I've checked the bug list and related issues have already been logged.  Looks like we'll need to wait for the next version.

I couldn't find a site to download beta-2 ... does anyone know of a way to get the older version (which didn't cause these issues)?

I found an old link to beta 2 but following the links takes me to the download for beta 3. So I assume beta 2 is no longer available.

Except for this problem, I really like beta 3 of the toolbar. Now that I know what to do, I'll keep beta 3 in place and turn it off when necessary.

I had previously completely uninstalled the beta-3 version.  When I installed the release version, I could not reproduce the issue.

Sander de Koning, did you uninstall the beta version first?

I don't know if this helps you but since encountering this problem, I've grown to love FireBug. It's an add in for FireFox and I feel like it gives me a better view into the styling, etc. than IE Developer Toolbar. I only use IE Dev Toolbar for situations specific to IE.
