Will CS 2.1 work with .Net Framework 2.0?

Has anyone managed to run CS2.0 in .Net 2.0?

Thanks.

CS 2.0 runs on ASP.NET 2.0 (with a few minor tweaks which you can probably find on the forums here). Of course, it doesn't take advantage of 2.0 features such as Master Pages, but it runs fine. (I've been running my site, slashstar, on it with no issues).

I'm assuming CS2.1 will also work but not leverage ASP.NET 2.0 features.

It looks like a hint was dropped in the Community Server Monthly...

"Each of us here at Telligent is very excited about the upcoming release of Community Server 2.1, slated for release later this month."

Sweet, I totally missed that.

The 2.1 release is scheduled for the end of the month and we don’t foresee that being delayed. -Ryan Liebbe

From an email sent to me this morning...sounds promising to me.

It was stated in this thread that there would be a beta and a list of changed files prior to the release of 2.1.  I was wondering if that was still the case or if there will just be a release.  As some have mentioned, there are people making descisions based on release dates.  I work for a university that purchased 2.0 and we are ready to put an intranet site into production this month.  However, if 2.1 is coming out this month, it doesn't make sense for me to release the site as 2.0 and then change the user experience right away.  I would rather delay and give them a consistant experience.  Looks better on us and better on the product.  If I could just get an idea of how much my skins are going to be affected and which bugs will be fixed and which won't, I could inform management whether to delay or not.  Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I'm gonna open a new website, but I don't want to use the beta. I'd prefer use CS 2.1 RTM, is there any date for this release ?

I may be a bit slow, but can anybody tell me where I can find what's new in 2.1 compaired to 2.0? The first post of this thread is quite vague, is there a more detailed list of things that are new?
